As we continue to integrate technology and wellness in new and accessible ways, new conversations are emerging. By fostering real partnerships between communities, designers,engineers and researchers, “Hello, Sunshine” is an initiative dedicated to supporting lifestyle choices that directly improve physical and mental health. We share new and evolving technology stories and work directly with people to create new solutions that enable individuals to support healthy living within their communities, including family, friends, office, school and society. We have already begun to set in motion collaborations with heading creative minds to design technology not as treatment, but as a choice for healthier lifestyles. Join us as we power the change.   • Open Collaboration with Parsons School of Design

    Panasonic and Parsons members @ Parsons School of Design
    We are collaborating with Parsons to invent wearables that fosters happiness and prevents disease. Panasonic started this open collaboration with Parsons, to stimulate product development from the user perspective. We introduced two prototypes at SXSW 2017, one focused on sleep quality, and the other fosters social interaction. The many insights and discoveries that came to light through the collaboration process are highlighted in our Backstory.

    Produce working prototypes that users can touch and try. Seek out and solve problems from the user perspective in the early stages of development.
